InfoMentor launches IM Media app to instantly capture evidence of pupil achievement
InfoMentor, a leading education technology provider of teaching and learning solutions, has developed and launched IM Media, a simple to use iOS app for teachers to capture their pupils’ moments of achievement and store them as supporting evidence for their learning progress.
The idea behind IM Media is to enable teachers to capture moments where pupils are inspired by their learning, both inside and outside of the classroom. IM Media is directly connected to InfoMentor’s planning, assessment and reporting tools, which means that the moments can be instantly stored to the appropriate assessment data for each pupil. These can then be automatically shared with the pupil’s guardians through IM Home, InfoMentor’s parent portal.
Richard Belson, UK Country Manager for InfoMentor states: “Teachers can more easily capture examples of a pupil mastering a skill, for example in Art, PE, Drama or socially in team-working environments. All photos and videos uploaded with IM Media are securely stored in InfoMentor, eliminating the need and risk of external social media sites. Teachers simply tag either individual or groups of pupils, ensuring that supporting evidence is stored with the appropriate pupil assessment data for a more well-rounded view of their learning process.”
IM Media is available as part of the InfoMentor suite, an award-winning solution that seamlessly combines planning, assessment and reporting.
